Designed to improve efficiency, Karibu has an easy to use selling interface that is compatible with all devices including desktop computers, POS Terminals and tablets.  You can also print captain orders in the kitchen and minimize errors with automated billing and receipting.

Integrated with the other Karibu modules, bills can be posted to guest room folios and ongoing events. Post staff bills to the payroll, split and merge bills.
You can create accounts for walk-in clients who take services on credit and easily track their transactions and payments.


RECIPE MANAGEMENT

A-recipe

Integrated with the stores module, Karibu’s recipe management feature enables you to specify the ingredients and quantities used to prepare each menu item. Thereafter, each time you sell the item, the ingredients automatically reduce from the department stocks enabling you to precisely control your stocks’ usage, eliminate wastage and pilferages and monitor the cost of all your sales.


AUTO MENU PRICING

A-costing

By entering your food cost percentage, Karibu will automatically calculate the selling prices for your menu items basing on the prevailing market prices of the ingredients. With this feature, you are always in control of your profits.
In case of event budgeting, simply select the menu item and enter the number of guests and the system will automatically calculate the quantities and costs of the needed ingredients and the profit margins.


CHEF’S INTERFACE

A-chef

Apart from the captain orders that print in the kitchen, the chef can also use his interface to view and update all sent orders in real-time. Once marked as ready, the ready orders display in the service area for collection. For consistency in taste and quality, the kitchen staff can also view the ingredients’ quantities used to prepare the sent order.


RESTAURANT/TABLE RESERVATIONS

A-reservations

Easily manage restaurant and bar reservations, track your clients’ deposit payments and get system alerts regarding upcoming reservations. Once the client comes on the booked date, the restaurant personnel can view the guest booking details and upon billing, the system will generate a final bill less the deposited amount.


HEALTH CLUB MANAGEMENT

A-membership

In case you offer membership/subscription packages for services like gym, swimming, sauna and more, Karibu simplifies the management of your subscription clients, tracks payments and monitors attendance.
On coming to use the services, the system will check and inform the health club receptionist if the client’s account is active and generate a guest entry pass to access the services. Once the membership period expires, the system automatically de-activates the client.
